In many past issues I have featured
recipes from my wife as she is
an excellent baker and a gourmet chef as well.
This is one of the many reasons we have
been together for 32 years.
But- "Mortgage Man" has a few tricks of his own--
Personalized Service
Always!
"An Evening of Romance"
Ingredients:
2 8 oz. Filet Mignon Steaks
2 Baked potatoes - go ahead buy the prepared ones - they look better.
1 Bottle of your favorite Red Wine.
Start the BBQ at 8:00 PM and pour a glass of wine - serve her
first.
Put the baked potatoes on the grill and sit and relax with her- look out
at the scenery of the lake and mountains - isn’t that what we are here
for!
After about 25 minutes add the Steaks to the BBQ. Pour another glass of
wine and remember to serve her first. Set the dining room table or the patio
table if the weather permits. Don’t forget the candles as this is a special
night.
Check the steaks and potatoes so they don’t burn - women don’t like
charcoal
(Learned from experience).
Serve the steak and potatoes - a wooden steak board is a nice touch.
Enjoy the meal in quiet conversation telling her how much you love her,
"Apres Dinner"
